For this salad you need:

1 ripe Mango

2 ripe Avocados

5 florets of Broccoli

Handful of Raisins (soaked in water for few hours)

Half of red onion

 

Preparation:

Cut Mango and Avocado into small cubes, finely chop onion and broccoli. Combine all ingredients together.

Decorate, serve and enjoy!

Today I prepared a smoothie with strawberry leaves! They are still growing in our garden.

Strawberry leaves are edible eaten raw, steamed or made into tea, which is used for stomach problems, blood purifier, kidney stones, jaundice, heavy menses, kidney/bladder problems, gout, diuretic.

The leaves can be used to help balance the acids in your digestive tract and are a good digestive tonic.  Strawberry leaves can also help to prevent anemia and help with aches and pains of arthritis.  They are rich in vitamins and minerals, and is one of the best natural sources of vit. C.

For this smoothie you will need:

Handful of Fresh Strawberry Leaves

1 Mango

3 bananas

some water

 

Preparation:

Put all ingredients into your Vitamix.  Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to 10, then to High.
Blend for about 1 minute or until smoothie reaches desired consistency.

3 pieces of dried mango (soaked in water for few hours)

Blend for about 1-2 minutes or until smoothie reaches desired consistency.

1 tablespoon of soaked chia seeds

Inch of fresh Turmeric

4 bananas

50ml water

 

Preparation:

Put all ingredients into your Vitamix.  Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to 10, then to High.
Use tamper to press the ingredients into the blades if required.
Blend for about 1 minute or until smoothie reaches desired consistency.

Serve and enjoy!

The Five Tibetan Rites is a yoga routine based on a ritual of exercises discovered in the early 1900’s, by a British army colonel, Colonel Bradford, who was living in a Himalayan monastery. They are practiced around the world and are said to prevent aging.
The five ancient Tibetan rites are said to normalize hormonal imbalances in the body, thereby holding the key to lasting youth, health, and vitality. The rites stimulate the energy system in the body, wake up the chakras, and get energy moving from your core outward to your extremities. The theory behind the rites is that your Kundalini (spiritual energy) is stored and lies at the base of your spine and that these rites access that energy in a very efficient, fast, and user-friendly way.
Some call these rites isometric exercises. Although they are helpful in stretching muscles and joints and improving muscle tone, this is not their primary purpose. A slow vortex causes that part of the body to deteriorate, while a faster one causes nervousness, anxiety, and exhaustion. Abnormal vortexes produces abnormal health, deterioration, and old age. The rites normalize the speed of the spinning vortexes by keeping them spinning at the same rate and working in harmony.

Because they are refined from their original state, oils are no longer safe to ingest into the body. In their concentrated forms, they are pure fat and large amounts of that fat will be directly absorbed into the bloodstream, adversely affecting the blood viscosity (thickness) and the blood chemistry. However, eating some fresh olives, coconut flesh, or sunflower seeds, in moderation, is not bad for you. These whole foods assuredly contain plenty of fat but it is in a form that is combined with all the essential nutrients designed by nature to accompany that fat.

Today I was making pancakes for my children and decided to prepare a raw apple jam. It turned out delicious.

To make jam you need:

Apples

Cinnamon

Coconut sugar

 

Preparation:

Peel the apples and put them into your Vitamix. Add some cinnamon and coconut sugar to taste.

Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to about 7-8..

Blend for 30 seconds or until jam reaches desired consistency.
